About Us
Jaxani Veg Food Ltd was founded by Palak Chokshi in 2021 with a dream to become a family name when it comes to Indian vegetarian food with special emphasis on traditional Gujarati and African Gujarati dishes. It also has the vision of becoming a popular name in the Indian street food domain as there is a dearth of this but again with a focus on Gujarat’s street food. In the first few months the company tried and tested their street food dishes by taking up food stalls in the events and it proved very successful with the customers excellent and encouraging comments and appreciation. Soon, the dream felt like a reality and we hence started looking to set up our own premises from where we can cater to the Indian community. We soon got our ideal first location in the very affluent town of Kenton which is a home to the massive Indian community.
Business Verticals
We believe that sweets and savouries are very integral to any Indian family and with so many festivals and the social culture surrounding the community, the demand for pure and authentic sweets and savouries will always remain. To cater to this we have one business premises which will be running under the brand name of ‘Pradip’. Our long-term goal is to be a family name when it comes to pure and tasteful sweets and savouries.
This is very upcoming and with many British born children liking the types of street food, this segment has seen immense growth and while traditional sweets and savouries is still the norm for any occasion, street food is becoming an everyday norm. With this demand in mind, we have come up with the brand ‘Vaghaar’ with an added tag line – The Street Food Experts. This will be a complete separate business unit and will be set up with a long-term vision to open up similar units in various locations.
Of course, no food business is complete without a restaurant offering and hence, we have also dived into a restaurant set up, serving various cuisines like South Indian, North Indian and we will also be introducing Rajasthani and Kathiyawadi cuisine in our restaurant menu. We will also cater to the Jain and the more popular and growing Vegan community too. This will again be marketed under the brand name ‘Vaghaar’ but with a tag line – Pure Vegetarian Multi-Cuisine Restaurant. The vision is to serve the community with fresh food and provide excellent customer relationship and eventually open up similar units in other locations.
The combination of all the three verticals i.e. Sweets & Savouries, Street Food and Multi-Cuisine Restaurant, we believe that catering to the major occasions like marriage, etc and other community events will be a segment which definitely needs to be tapped. Henceforth, we are also developing and marketing catering vertical under the name of ‘Pradip Catering’. With a massive commercial kitchen set up available at our Kenton facility, we are best placed to expand and develop catering segment to the next level.

Palak Chokshi
Director and Operations InchargePalak is a very determined individual who never believes in losing as she firmly believes that hard work and honest work ethics will always lead to success and progress. With a family history of manufacturing of traditional savouries and sweets coupled with her work ethics and a strong and positive vision she is leading the operations and is also the director of Jaxani Veg Food Ltd. She is commerce graduate and loves hearing to Sadhguru and the types.
Rushiraj Patel
Operations and FoH ManagerRushiraj is a young and hard working individual who loves being in hospitality industry. At a very young age of 18 he started working into the industry in India and soon he started freelancing for wedding events and other bigger events. He has experience working with big names like Hyatt, Taj, Crowne Plaza, etc. during his training period. He understands customer requirements very well and is committed to serve the customer at their satisfaction. He loves keeping himself fit and plays tennis, badminton, handball.
Sachin Chokshi
Business Processes and HRSachin is an experienced accountant by profession and he brings a wealth of business experience as he has seen businesses flourish and fall being an accountant for varied businesses. He is passionate about brand image and believes in standardising the business processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness. He is very good at people management and team building by giving positive energy to the staff using real life examples. He is the Company Secretary of Jaxani Veg Food Ltd. He is also learning Octapad (electronic drums) and Dhol as a hobby.
